28 years as a Secondary teacher, including 7 as a Newport comprehensive headmaster. Also 10 years in the Welsh Office as Head of Education-Business Links. Organist and former churchwarden of St Cybi's Church, Llangybi. Interests include theatre, concert-going, literature, and gardening.
